Don Stirling Joins Operation Kids as Chief Marketing & Development Officer

In March, Operation Kids welcomed Don Stirling on board as the Chief Marketing&Development Officer. Don brings with him more than 25 years of marketing, sponsorship and fundraising experience, having worked for the National Basketball Association (NBA), Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA), International Management Group (IMG), Deseret Book, and the Massachusetts Sports and Entertainment Commission (MSEC).
Don also served as the Managing Director of Sales and Marketing for the Salt Lake Organizing Committee for the 2002 Olympic Winter Games, where he helped generate more than $860 million in sponsorship revenue and more than $40 million in donor revenue.
Most recently, Don served as National Deputy Director of Finance/Mountain States Region for the Romney for President Campaign, and also provided fundraising services for other national and statewide political organizations through February 2009.
Don and his wife, April, are the parents of four children and reside in Cottonwood Heights, Utah.
