Operation KidsT Announces Additions to Governing Boards

Locally Based Non-Profit Increases Breadth and Depth of Experience of Growing Foundation
SALT LAKE CITY - Operation Kids, an international non-profit organization dedicated to supporting effective children's charities, today announced new additions to their National Advisory Board and Board of Trustees.
New National Advisory Board members include:
- • Kelly C. Crabb, partner with Morrison & Foerster, a national legal firm specializing in international entertainment, media and sports, of Los Angeles, CA.
- • Rep. Ernest J. Istook, former U.S. Congressman from Oklahoma and a Distinguished Fellow with The Heritage Foundation.
- • JaLynn Prince, president of Madison House Foundation, focused on providing independent living for people with autism; and founder and president of Times and Seasons, an arts management consulting firm emphasizing the arts, broadcasting, public policies, and public relations.
- • Chuck Warren, president of Bully Pulpit, Inc. a public affairs and crisis communications consulting firm based in Salt Lake City.
New Board of Trustees members include:
- • Norman H. Bangerter, former governor of the state of Utah.
- • Robert C. "Bob" Gay, co-founder and CEO of Huntsman-Gay Capital Partners, a billion dollar plus private equity firm located in Palo Alto, California. Gay was also a former managing director at Bain Capital.
- • The Honorable Andrew A. Valdez, Judge, Utah Third District Juvenile Court.
- • Byron Whisler, founding partner of Planned Gift Associates and successful fundraiser, of Palm Springs, CA
"The extensive knowledge and diverse backgrounds of these new board members lends a deepening perspective to our already distinguished board," said Rick Larsen, president of Operation Kids. "We are excited to have these professionals on our team, and to utilize their perspectives and expertise to make a significant impact on the lives of children worldwide."
The next meeting of the Operation Kids Board of Trustees will be held on May 9 in Salt Lake City.
