President's Welcome

I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to a truly unique Advisory Board.

Each and every day, we at Operation Kids Foundation are presented with opportunities to change more lives for the better. We explore and research the best and, yes, the most challenged of nonprofits. From this unique perspective we are able to then advise and direct clients toward greater philanthropic impact. It is a pleasure and an honor to work in such an endeavor, and made all the more rewarding as we are able to work side-by-side with great thinkers like each of you.

As you know, March 9, 2010 is slated for our first full meeting of the Operation Kids Foundation Board of Trustees and the Trailblazer Advisory Board. At this meeting we will provide you a look back at 2009 and present an overview of 2010. Most importantly, we seek your advice and input as we set a measurable and quantifiable course for this year and beyond.

May I also take this opportunity to express our appreciation for your participation and ongoing contributions to the success of Operation Kids Foundation. I am aware, to some degree, of the demands that are placed upon your time. Your decision to join the Trailblazer Advisory Board is recognized and appreciated, and we promise that through your service you will assist in changing the way the world looks at giving – thus helping the lives of more children here and around the world.
