Sara Brueck Nichols, Director, Marketing & New Media


Sara Brueck Nichols' experience includes a decade in integrated communications developing strategic media relations and grassroots campaigns, merchandising and brand development, event and tradeshow planning, search engine optimization, marketing education, market research and analysis across a broad spectrum of industries in the corporate, nonprofit and academic sectors.

She has developed, grown and managed award-winning brands, campaigns, and projects to establish identity, expertise and awareness to increase return-on-investment and revenue. Nichols' experience includes overseeing the marketing and brand development of some of the most successful real estate projects in the Mid-Atlantic region and developing marketing strategies that led another brand to an 80% year-over-year growth in revenue and recognition as one of the most influential brands in its industry.

Nichols has been highly involved with several professional organizations, working to help to increase awareness and membership among young professionals. She is a founding board member of the Salt Lake City chapter of the Social Media Club, served as a prior Programs & Events chair with the National Capital Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) and was a member of the Young Leaders Forum with the Urban Land Institute.

Nichols' nonprofit and volunteer work has been in the areas of youth development, literacy, advocacy for the blind and women's health initiatives with such organizations as The National 4-H Council, Project Safe Night, United Way, Tidewater Literacy Council and The Columbia Lighthouse for the Blind.
